Boson clouds could explain Dark Matter!

Date Posted: 20th December 2021

The nature of dark matter continues to perplex astronomers. As the search for dark matter particles continues to turn up nothing, it's tempting to throw out the dark matter model altogether, but indirect evidence for the stuff continues to be strong. One of these is the boson clouds.

I will be very soon talking about both - bosons as well as dark matter as a part of my primary posts, but for now, you could understand bosons to be the carriers of the fundamental forces, and dark matter to be composed of particles that do not absorb, reflect, or emit light, so they cannot be detected by observing electromagnetic radiation.
